Bowyer, Humphries lead Southwest Track:
Led by Senior Cally Bowyer and Junior Robert Humphries, the track and field team started the season at the McDonald County Relays Wednesday. Cally helped all 4th relay teams score with two 4ths and two 6ths. Robert was 5th in the 800 (2:18.43), 7th in the mile (5.24.24), and helped the 4x400 earn 6th (4:02.05). Other highlights:
Freshmen Case Jennings and Ivan Suchowski were 7th and 8th in the high jump. Ivan was also 7th in the 110 hurdles (22.19).
Junior Ezra Sprowes was 5th in the 100 at 11.87.
Freshman Vic Tellez was 8th in the two-mile (13.24.06).
Sophomore Kali Jones was 6th in the 800 (2:52.67)
Freshman Cecilia Goins earned a medal in the JV 800 (4:01.20).
The Trojans and Lady Trojans are back in action Monday and Tuesday at Republic and Diamond.
Summer Softball and Baseball Sign-up are Saturday, March 11th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Middle School Gym Lobby.

The boys' basketball team will be playing the Sectionals Game at Carthage vs. Sparta on Monday, February 27th at 7:45 pm. Admission Prices: Sectional/Quarterfinals --$8.00 (+ processing fee); All tickets (Sectional, Quarterfinal, Show-Me Showdown) must be purchased digitally through the MSHSAA website. There will be no tickets sold at the door. All tickets are on sale within 24 hours of qualifying. One ticket is good for all games on that day at that venue. For digital ticketing questions, please contact digitaltickets@mshsaa.org. Only purchase your tickets at MSHSAA.org because there are scammers trying to sell tickets.

Good morning! Attached you will find the 4th and 5th Grade Boys Basketball information from Coach Hendrix. Our 4th and 5th grade girls will also be able to play basketball this Spring. Their information will come in a few weeks.
Good morning. Please see the attached Angel Tree application. Parents need to fill this out and parents will be notified if approved. The deadline for applications is Friday, November 18. Students were given applications today to come home. Please feel free to contact your child's building if you need a copy of the application.
Southwest RV School would like to invite all our area veterans to our Annual Veteran’s Day assembly. Your student should have brought home a colored paper asking for information about your family member that has served in the military. If you have not returned that form, please do so so we may honor your family member during our assembly.
Annoucement from Southwest School District
We will be celebrating our Veteran’s on Friday, November 11th. Any family members, of our students, are encouraged and welcome to attend. We will serve lunch to the Veteran’s and their families at 11:30 in the HS commons area with the assembly starting at 12:30. We, unfortunately, will not be able to dismiss students to come to the High School to eat with their family members, as we have limited seating.
We, along with your families are very proud of your service and would like the chance to honor you.
